Warning to people who are considering sending their children to this school.Not a single good thing to say about this school. First of all, the principal, Catherine Cox-wallis, is one of the most rudest, nastiest ladies I've ever met. She is stupidly unprofessional when it comes to parent student meetings, often blowing us off, or leaving my family waiting hours after an appointment time, the she demanded my family to attend. She is quite rude when it comes to speaking with parents and very belittling of students that she does not like, or the ones that do not perform to her academic standards. Mount Barker South Primary School has no clue on how to handle bullying at all. After being bullied throughout the years that i attended this hellhole of a school, i felt that my problems were never properly listened to, as there was often no resolutions to things such as bullying, or learning difficulties. When i was bullied here, i was told to report it straight away, so that were would be resolutions. the issues were never properly addressed. i still faced harsh bullying almost everyday, and every time i reported it nothing was ever done about theses issues. Cox-wallis would often say things like "what do you expect me to do" " don't exaggerate, Not everyone is bullying you". Every time i approached her, hoping for a solution to the bullying, she would turn it back to me and asked me if i could have started these problems myself. Yes Catherine, I asked people to say the nastiest things to me everyday, I asked to be beaten up, all i desired was to be that kid who you can bully, i loved it !!!!
It's the best school ever it's always helped me people may think it's terrible but really if you came you would no that we pretty good we me muck up at some times at SAPSASA but when we are not we actually pretty good we are very smart sometimes not but in learning we are we use strategies To Help we discuss how we work out we use visible learning and we really good at helping new kids fit in to the right places and very nice but can be very competive
