I was concerned about changing dentists but Adelaide hills family dentist made it easy, Helping me transfer my records and I didnt need to compromise on an appointment time. I was having issues with my night guard and after speaking with Dr. French he was able to provide me with a great solution that works. I was followed up for my next appointment so I wouldnt forget and had an excellent clean with one of the resident hygienist (Sorry I have forgotten her name), Perfect combination of deft skill and pleasant bed side manner, easing any nerves I had. Five Stars and compete service, have made my next check up appointment.
5 out of 5 for faulty dentistry work. I had a crown made up and fitted by Dr Julian French. What a charming young man. So friendly, saying all the right things to charm me. Crown felt uncomfortable, Julian told me that it was my imagination and that this was normal. So, I sought a second opinion from a dentist nearby, as it turns out they know his work well. Bottom line, Crown was not fitted correctly, traps food and is anatomically incorrect. If you wish to be treated for a fool, then this is the place for you. A very costly and painful experience coming here. Dr Julian French knows who I am, ignorance must be Bliss. I have had to undergo a crown removal since my visit, and pay more for a new crown to be fitted elsewhere, but at least it is now correct and comfortable. Dr Julian French lost my respect, the day I payed for a faulty crown and he treated me for a fool. I mentioned numerous times that 'It does not feel right', he said that 'it was normal' and 'that it was all in my imagination'. I will never contact or set foot in this place again. I have a right to my review and opinion and will pass it on, if it will help just one person to avoid the trauma I have suffered.
The service I experienced was, fast, friendly & very generous. Rebecca and the Adelaide Hills Family Dental team were professional, courteous and had a great "chair side" manner. I'd recommend them to my family and friends, or anyone looking for a team that gets stuff done and done well.

This is a clean, professional dental practice. Dr French and the team are always friendly yet completely professional. This is my regular dentist and even though I work interstate, I still return to Adelaide regularly and make sure I head up to AHFD. Highly recommended.
